Recitals

School recitals are like a family reunion where the community is invited to share in the accomplishments of the students. Individual students who have made great progress perform for their peers, family and the community. The three orchestras, each, have an opportunity to perform. We have two formal recitals; one in early December and the other in May, In August we have a recital at the end of our intense summer curriculium. Individuals applying for acceptance into other music schools or institutions often perform there audition.

Students Playing for Students

Students playing for Students is designed to connect and enrich the performing experience. Those working on the same repetoire or having already played the same piece often enjoy seeing and hearing what other students are doing. The more advanced students can understand and encourage younger students. This interconnectedness gives younger students positive feedback mutual encouragement and older students a sense of helping younger students. The joint effort to succeed it the foundation for true musical growth.

Master Classes

One of the greatest experiences a young musician can have is to share their gift and accomplishments with a visiting String Professor. We regularly invite acknowleged masters in String instruments to visit and view our students. Zvi Zeitlin had visted us twice before his passing in 2012.
